In a horrifying case of sexual harassment reported from Tamil Nadu, the police have arrested four people in connection with the case while the prime accused confessed there are more people involved. The case involves gang members who used to befriend women on social media websites luring them to meet and then forcefully shooting their obscene videos.
This incident created massive outrage in the state Tamilnadu where many started protesting in order to get the culprits what they deserve. Apart from the public who are very much angry on the rapists, many celebrities started to raise their voice for the victims. Even some wanted them to die immediately.
Now the short film Your’s Shamefully fame Soundarya has came up with a video condemning girls who are using social media. In the video the actress mostly showed her concern over the girls and asked them that it is not at all necessary to talk with unknown girls.
She also said that it is the only reason behind herself not replying to her followers who are continuously asking her to reply. Following this she also uploaded another video suggesting the girls that she is not alone blaming the girls but boys should also be responsible.
The victim befriended one man, Sabarirajan, on social media. He asked her to skip class on February 12 and persuaded her to go sightseeing with him. When she entered the car, she found Sabarirajan’s friends inside. The gang sexually assaulted her.
They filmed the assault, and would later use the video to blackmail her. They also stole her gold jewellery before dropping her off. While investigating the case, the police learned that the same gang allegedly committed sexual assault on, or harassed, several girls and women from schools and colleges.
