Indian team on Sunday produced an all-round performance to thrash Pakistan by 89 runs at Old Trafford, Manchester in a much-hyped clash and extended their head to head record against the Asian rivals to a dominant 7-0 in the World Cups.
In the marquee clash, India outperformed Pakistan in all the three departments to make the contest a one-sided affair.
Put in to bat first, India opener Rohit Sharma scored his second hundred at the tournament, followed by captain Virat Kohli and KL Rahul smashed half-centuries each to help India post a mammoth 336 runs total as Pakistan never threatened to make a chase of it in the rain-interrupted game.
An India vs Pakistan game is arguably the biggest cricket-rivalry because of the diplomatic tensions between the two countries and thus there was a lot of furor prior to the high-octane clash.
The social media has been flooded with photos, videos and memes since India thrashed Pakistan in the World Cup. While the entire world was expecting a classic game, India made it a lopsided affair. The Men in Blue thrashed their arch-rivals by 89 runs to register their third win of the tournament. And among many of those viral videos, the latest one that is doing the rounds is that of allrounder Imad Wasim.
In the video which is going viral in Internet is shows Imad Wasim bowling to Kohli which was pushed for a single by the Indian captain. When he was nearing the non-striker’s end, Imad Wasim was seen folding his hands and asking something to him with a pity face. Kohli replied to it which is not audible.

As soon as Pakistan crumbled to one of their worst defeats vs India in the tournament, the team’s fans wasted no time in pointing out the player’s outing as the chief reason for the loss.
