Ravindra Jadeja, the people’s man of the match in yesterday’s game smashed a terrific 77, contributed in bowling and fielding as well. He was all over the Internet since his reply to commentator Sanjay Manjrekar who stated the all rounder as “bits and pieces” cricketer. Now in a way of proving himself in the field, the 30 year old pointed his bat towards the commentary box in his very own style.

Sanjay Manjrekar, a controversial commentator and former cricketer of Team India is very much known for his biased statements which would be in favour of his favourite players, especially to the cricketers who belong to Mumbai.
Yesterday, during the post match, Sanjay Manjrekar, lauded the cricketer without having a choice. The video which was posted by ICC’s caption said “By bits ‘n’ pieces of sheer brilliance, he’s ripped me apart on all fronts.” @sanjaymanjrekar has something to say to @imjadeja after the all-rounder’s fantastic performance against New Zealand.”

Sanjay accepted that Jadeja proved him wrong and added that is something from Jadeja which he hasn’t seen often. While talking about Jadeja’s “sword” celebration towards commentary box , Sanjay said, “I apologize for not being there at that time. Star of the day looking for me but I wasn’t there. I was in lounge eating my lunch” he said in a humorous way.

It all started when Sanjay Manjrekar once said “I am not a big fan of bits and pieces players which Jadeja is at this point of his career in 50-over cricket. In Test matches, he is a pure bowler. But in 50-over cricket, I would rather have a batsman and a spinner,”
My best moment was that sword celebration by #Jadeja
I used to think celebrations in cricket were boring compared to football but that sword celebration was on a whole different level. Never seen such a thing before pic.twitter.com/FoCMh9grKh

This statement irked the cricketer who immediately replied to him through his official twitter account. In his tweet Jadeja told Manjrekar to learn how to players who achieved. “Still i have played twice the number of matches you have played and i m still playing. Learn to respect ppl who have achieved.i have heard enough of your verbal diarrhoea.@sanjaymanjrekar”
