Radhakrishnan Parthiban is one of the most experimental filmmakers of all time. Known for his uniqueness, the director always interested in making films which are progressive. The man who amused Tamil cinema audience with his creations, now came up with a unique film which revolves around only a single man.

Oththa Seruppu Size 7 is the one-man cinema, which revolves around a murder mystery. Parthiban, the multi-faceted talent of Tamil cinema, has written and directed the film, as well as essay the only acting role. Oththa Seruppu Size 7 has garnered the attention of cinema fanatics much before its release, due to its unique theme.

As soon as getting released in theatres, Oththa Seruppu is receiving positive reviews from fans and critics. But the filmmaker who made this film with his sweat and tears, is not very happy it seems. The reason behind it is nothing but the anti-social elements who illegally released his movie in unofficial websites. Parthiban also worried on the fact that people are watching it illegally instead of experiencing it in theatre.

Parthiban in his tweet says that he wants to hurt himself not only with one slipper but with two slippers for making such movie. He also consoled himself by saying that he wants to make more like this on seeing the audience response in theatres.

Background score for the film is composed by C. Sathya while one soundtrack is composed by Santhosh Narayanan. The film is produced by Parthiepan under his production banner Bioscope Film Framers. The film entered the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records for having a single person writing, directing, solo acting and producing a film. The film premiered at the Singapore South Asian Film Festival on 30 August 2019.
